Bayview
Bayview is a modern seaside home located right next to the award-winning Blue Flag Botany Bay in Broadstairs, Kent. This 2 bedroom, self-contained holiday home forms the front of a magnificent house and has been fully refurbished in 2024, including a brand-new kitchenette and shower room. Bring the whole family and enjoy the many fun activities in this unique seaside location.
The Space
Bayview is a contemporary, self-contained seaside home with 2 double bedrooms, situated right next to the stunning Botany Bay. The property is for your exclusive use and features parking for one car on the drive, with additional free on-street parking on Botany Road. The shared patio garden includes an outdoor hot shower and seating, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. The patio garden is shared with guests of The Hideaway, but there is separate seating for each holiday home.
Inside, Bayview has a small kitchenette with a breakfast bar and stools for 4 people, and is equipped with an air fryer, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and sandwich maker. The shower room is conveniently located off the kitchenette. Both bedrooms have been newly redecorated to a high standard. From the main bedroom window, you can see the sea, just a few metres away, and at night you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. This cosy home sleeps 4-5 people, with a guest bed that pulls out from under the single bed in the second bedroom—best suited for children as it reduces space when in use.
Guest Access
You will have private access through the main front door, which is for your exclusive use. The shared patio is accessible through the white gate next to the garage and down the side alleyway. The key box is also located in this area, on the right-hand wall.
Other Things to Note
Bayview does not have a separate lounge area and shares the garden with our neighbouring property, The Hideaway. The kitchenette includes a breakfast bar with four stools, an air fryer, microwave, sandwich maker, fridge freezer, and sink, but there is no oven at this property. Bayview offers a hotel-suite-like experience with the added benefit of a kitchenette, two separate bedrooms, and a walk-in shower.
For larger groups, The Hideaway, our detached lodge is also located in the same grounds. It sleeps 6 guests and when booked with Bayview we can accommodate up to 11 people in total.
The Hideaway
This unique holiday home is located just 100 metres from the award-winning Blue Flag Botany Bay, one of the most desirable bays in Kent. With stunning beaches right on your doorstep, The Hideaway offers easy access to local attractions such as Ramsgate Harbour, Margate Sands with the Turner Contemporary art gallery and Dreamland theme park, and Broadstairs, renowned for its wide variety of restaurants and bars. Nearby, Joss Bay is famous for its surfing school, while hidden bays, sea caves, and magnificent sunsets await your exploration.
The Space
This detached lodge features a fully fitted kitchen, bathroom, and a comfortable double bedroom equipped with an Amazon Fire Stick offering all your favourite channels. Beautifully finished both inside and out, The Hideaway can accommodate up to 6 people. The main suite includes a king-size bed, while the lounge features a 4’6” sofa bed. Additionally, 2 brand-new adult bunk beds are situated in the open-plan dining area. The shared outdoor space, also available to guests staying at our sister holiday home, Bay View, is perfect for al fresco dining and includes an outdoor hot shower. Free parking is available just a stone’s throw from the stunning Blue Flag Botany Bay.
Guest Access
While parking can be challenging at Botany Bay, guests staying at The Hideaway have the benefit of their own allocated parking space on our private driveway, conveniently located right next to the bay.
Other Things to Note
Please note that the 2 bunk beds are situated in the open-plan lounge and dining area, which may affect privacy. The shared outdoor space is available to both The Hideaway and Bay View guests.
